P&G vows not to jump ship
Procter & Gamble Trading (Thailand), the local unit of the US consumer products giant, insists the widespread flooding will not alter its long-term investment plans in the country.
Managing director Raul Falcon said Thailand’s facilities and skilled workers would continue to attract investment.
P&G has been present in Thailand for 15 years and the country is now the company’s largest manufacturing hub in Asia for beauty care.
“Thailand is one of the more important manufacturing bases for P&G,” said Mr Falcon.
