expanded rapidly due to strong tourist demand. International mass tourism has been part of the success story of successive governments’ efforts (including the development our new international airport, mass-transit infrastructure and creative Tourism Authority of Thailand promotions).
This in turn has contributed to a rising standard of living within Thailand, more people acquiring more free time, and improvements in internet technology that are making it possible to travel farther, faster, cheaper and in greater numbers.
Thailand now has a tourism supply chain of significant value _ with all the organisations involved working to ensure efficient coordination of efforts and specific activities ranging from government regulations to improved tourism service suppliers, highly competitive tour operators, travel agencies and tourists themselves.

Focusing on certain tourism attractions, they help create the products that are required by tourists, assembling the different basic and supplementary services offered by numerous suppliers, and distributing them to the retailers, or directly to the tourists.
